It wasn't the reason I gave , but it was a nice little bonus. The giftcard for Amazon arrived in my email a few days later. I quickly opened up the website and...nothing.
I couldn't think of anything to order. Still can't.
What ridiculous privilege, right?
It's not that I'm rich or anything. I just don't need anything, and I kind of want to get rid of extra stuff that's cluttering up my house. Which kind of makes me want to get some sort of organizational device, but that just hides more stuff that I don't really need.
I thought about books that I want to read, but I'm not much of a re-reader, so I prefer to just borrow them from the library.
I thought about using it to buy some sort grocery item or something that has utility. Meh.
Maybe something to make my classroom a little more cozy? That could be cool, I guess. One of the guys down the hall has a fancy looking electric kettle that he uses to make pour-over coffee and tea.
But, again, that's just more clutter. I have a coffee pot in my room, and we have an instant hot water spout in the lounge.
What would you spend $20 on right now?
